VMware released today Update 3 for ESX/ESXi.

Verified the ESXi Configurator Utility will patch ESXi hosts using the new Update 3 package.

I am unable to connect to ESXi using the tool. Just get an error saying Invalid User ID or can not find ESX host.
Am able to connect fine using VMware Client.
What version for ESXi are you running? I've had some issues with very early verions of ESXi that is shipping from OEM vendors.
